Electronic Records and Signatures Consent
Effective October 23, 2026
We run our business largely online. This page explains what you agree to when you receive documents from us electronically and sign them electronically, and how you can change your mind. It follows the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and the Texas Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
What this covers
- Agreements and forms: space agreements, membership agreements, contractor agreements, tax forms (such as a W-9), guest liability waivers and any updates to them.
- Invoices, receipts and statements and reminders about them.
- Notices: for example notices about a late payment, ending or changing an agreement, a rule violation or a change to your account or these policies.
- Policies and disclosures that we give you, including our terms and privacy policy.
Your consent
By agreeing to this page, signing in to the portal and using it, or signing a document electronically, you consent to receive the records above from us electronically, and you agree that we may sign and you may sign electronically. Your electronic signature on a document has the same legal effect as your handwritten signature.
How we deliver records
We deliver records in the portal and by email to the address we hold for you. Please keep that address current, and tell us at contact@acmecreationlab.org if it changes. Records in the portal can be viewed, downloaded and printed at any time. A record is delivered when we post it in the portal or send it to your email address, even if you do not open it.
For some notices the law requires a particular method of delivery (for example by hand, by mail or by posting at the door). Where that is so, we will also deliver the notice in the way the law requires, and this consent does not replace it.
How you sign
You sign in the portal by typing your name and drawing your signature. We add that signature, the signer's name and the date and time to the signed copy, which we keep with the rest of your records. You can download your signed documents from the portal at any time.
What you need
To receive and keep these records you need a current web browser, an email account you can reach, software that opens PDF files, and a way to save or print them. If our requirements change in a way that could stop you from receiving records, we will tell you first.
Your right to a paper copy
You can have a paper copy of any record at no charge. Ask at contact@acmecreationlab.org, or ask in person at the office, and we will provide it.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contact@acmecreationlab.org. Withdrawing consent does not affect any record we already delivered or any document you already signed. After you withdraw, we will provide records on paper, and because the portal depends on electronic records, we may need to limit your use of parts of it. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Updating your details
To update your email address or phone number, change it in the portal or tell us. If an email to you bounces, we may deliver by other means.
