Cookies Notice
Effective October 23, 2026
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use only the ones the website and the portal need to work. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
acme-portal-session |
Keeps you signed in to the portal and carries your place from page to page. Without it the portal cannot work. | Until your session ends, up to 2 hours of inactivity |
XSRF-TOKEN |
A security token that protects forms (including the inquiry form) from forged requests. | Up to 2 hours |
acme_lang |
On the public website only: remembers whether you chose English or Spanish with the flag button. It holds nothing but the language. | 1 year |
portal_remember |
Only if you tick Remember me when you sign in to the portal. It signs you back in on that browser. | 30 days, renewed each time you use it. Deleted when you sign out |
These are "strictly necessary" cookies, so we do not ask for consent before setting them. If you block them, the portal will not work.
Cookies from other services
Some parts of our website load services from other companies, and they can set their own cookies or see your IP address and the page you are on:
- Eventbrite, which shows our events calendar.
- Google, which serves the website's fonts, and whose maps open when you press a map link.
- PayPal, when you give through PayPal's page or pay through the portal.
- Stripe, when you pay through its checkout page.
- A content delivery network (jsDelivr), which serves some of the site's code.
We do not control those cookies. Their own policies explain what they do.
Your choices
You can delete cookies or stop them being set from your browser's settings. Signing out of the portal removes the sign-in and Remember me cookies from that browser. If you use a shared computer, do not tick Remember me.
