Security Camera and Recording Notice

For the safety of everyone and the protection of the property, ACME Creation Lab operates security cameras at 1219 South Riverfront Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207. By entering the premises you acknowledge this notice.
Where the cameras are
Cameras cover shared and common areas inside the building and the outdoor areas around it, including entrances, hallways, shop and work areas, lounges and the parking lot. We do not place cameras in restrooms or inside private studios and labs.
What they record
The cameras record video all the time. Some cameras can also capture sound. Please do not assume that any conversation in the building is private.
Why we record
We use the cameras to keep people and property safe, to deter and investigate theft, damage and accidents, to check that our rules are followed, and to resolve disputes.
Who can see it
- Our authorized staff can watch live views and review recordings.
- Tenants, members and others we choose may be given a live or recorded view of the cameras for their own company's areas through the portal. Camera access is for personal safety and security only. It must not be used to record, copy, post or share pictures of other people, and we can withdraw it at any time.
- Others only where the law requires it or it is needed to protect people or property, for example we may give a clip to the police, an insurer or a person involved in an incident.
Computer-assisted review
To find events quickly, our staff may use an AI service to search recordings or to describe still frames and short clips from them. We use it to find things such as a vehicle or a person at a given time, not to identify anyone from their face.
How long we keep recordings
Recordings are kept for a limited time, roughly 30 to 90 days depending on the camera and the type of recording, and are then overwritten. If a recording is needed for an incident, a claim or a legal request, we keep it for longer.
Your rights and questions
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. To ask about a recording, or to raise a concern about a camera, write to contact@acmecreationlab.org or call 469-431-5944. If you want a clip preserved because of an incident, please tell us as soon as you can, because older recordings are overwritten.
